Time Flies When You're Learning New Stuff

Wow, things have changed SO very much in the past few months.  I am constantly learning new tricks and tips that make my pieces better, and make me more versatile in what I can offer.  I have recently started wood burning Portraits!!!  So far I have done a few gifts, and a few memorial pieces.  Here are a few examples for you....

A New Job?

I have a new job possibility!!  I made a wonderful contact through Etsy and he may have stumbled upon a job for me.   I will keep you updated on progress and pictures!

I also heard from Christine.  She LOVED her rose box.  I have attached photos of it now that she has received it.  It was a surprise for her.

Happy Friday

Happy Friday everyone!!  I wanted to update on the new inquiry, the "cereal box" project...  Well, it seems the customer wants just the box itself, not the artwork I do.  So I have referred him to another Etsy shop that will hopefully be able to suit his needs better.  I stumbled across this shop and they have BEAUTIFUL wood items, look to be excellent quality, but I will let you know for sure when I get an item from them.

In the meantime I am shipping 2 custom items out today... The medicine chest I posted pictures of yesterday, and a special gift for a family member, which I have posted pictures of today.

Medicine Chest

This is my most recent custom order.  It will go out in the mail Friday.
It was ordered to be a small wood box that would hold 7 - 10 medicine bottles and look nice enough to place in the kitchen.

This is what I came up with.

 

"Breakfast Box"

I just received an order request this morning, so I am going to follow the progress and steps involved.  I hope this will help you better understand what to expect from me, and what I can expect from you....

The first step is getting you the perfect box....  This request is for a cereal box size/shaped box with a slide top.

I am in the process of finding a box like this and preparing a quote to send to the client.
